Along the valve mantle are primary costae (pc) and secondary costae (sc) forming true chambers of type A. A marginal strutted process occurs on every primary costa. Central strutted processes (csp) are present on the valve face with domed cribra. The cribra and central strutted processes are arrange in “tear drop†shaped aggregations. A labiate processes (lp) is present on the valve face beyond the extension of the cribra and central strutted processes. Labiate processes generally occur singularly in this species.
